Responsible Alcohol Retailers of Weld County Code of Ethics

As responsible alcohol retailers of Weld County, we agree to establish and abide by a Code of Ethics for serving and selling alcohol beverages.

  1. We diligently check ID’s to ensure that we do not sell alcohol beverages to any person under the legal drinking age (21). Our employees will all be trained in how to validate the authenticity of ID’s and other specialized topics as needed.
  2. We encourage designate drivers as well as public transportation and community ride program for all on-premise and off-premise customers who may be at risk of exceeding the legal limits for alcohol intake or who show the behavior of being intoxicated.
    Our employees are and will be trained in how to identify individuals who are demonstrating visible behavioral cues of intoxication, and we will not sell or serve alcohol to those individuals.
  3. We follow the rules and regulations of the Colorado Department of Revenue Liquor Enforcement Division, and support local liquor enforcement officers and liquor codes.
  4. We will conduct our business in a tasteful and responsible manner that align with and supports the best interests of all residents and the surrounding neighborhood.
  5. We will only use advertising, promotions or drink specials in our establishment that promote responsible consumption of alcohol in a respectful manner.
